About us

WPQM Manufacturing is an industrial IT services company. We support factories and production sites in digitalising their operations, from architecture study through to go-live and knowledge transfer.

Mission

Make industrial operations legible, measurable and controllable. Every piece of data produced on the shop floor should support a decision — otherwise it is not worth collecting.

Vision

A high-performing factory is not the one with the most software, but the one whose systems talk to each other. We believe in open, standardised and documented architectures that outlive the people who built them.

Values

Shop floor first

Our specifications are written beside the lines, with operators and setters, not only in meeting rooms.

Standards and interoperability

ISA-95, ISA-88, OPC UA: we favour what is documented and reproducible over what is proprietary and opaque.

Knowledge transfer

A successful project is one your teams can evolve on their own. Documentation and training are part of the scope.

Honest measurement

We agree the success indicators before kick-off and publish them at the end, including when they disappoint.

Industrial expertise

Industrial expertise

Our consultants come from production, automation and industrial IT. They speak both languages: that of the shop floor and that of the information system.

  • MES architecture and ERP integration (SAP, Dynamics, Sage)
  • ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards and industrial data models
  • Shop floor connectivity: OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, Siemens and Rockwell controllers
  • Regulatory traceability: food, pharmaceutical, medical devices
  • Statistical process control and OEE calculation
  • CMMS, asset management and condition-based maintenance

How we run a project

Five stages, defined deliverables for each, and a decision gate in between. You can stop the project at the end of any of them.

01

Scoping and assessment

Mapping of flows, existing systems and breaking points. Shop floor interviews and a survey of the data actually available.

02

Target architecture

Definition of the ISA-95 levels involved, the interfaces and the data model. Trade-off between off-the-shelf products and custom development.

03

Pilot line prototype

Implementation on a narrow, measurable scope. Confronted with real conditions before any roll-out commitment.

04

Progressive roll-out

Line by line or site by site, with data migration, team training and fallback procedures.

05

Operation and continuous improvement

Handover to internal teams, indicator reviews and a roadmap. Support through version upgrades.
